Chapters 60 and 61 Summary

Thomas follows the doctors for the final procedure. He types goodbye messages to Minho and Brenda while he waits for his final meal to arrive. He hopes the Right Arm saves him before it's too late. Thomas tries to stall Janson when he comes for him, but it doesn't work.

Janson enters a surgical room with the two doctors, nurses and monitors. A woman rushes in saying a Berg arrived but it was a trick. They say they have to rush to complete the procedure because they don't know what those people on the Berg are trying to do. The doctors administer medication through an IV that causes Thomas to go numb.

Dr. Christianson starts running some tests. An explosion erupts in the room. When everyone gets their footing again, Dr. Christianson says they have to hurry to get the procedure...
