Chapter 8 Summary

The guards escort Minho, Thomas, and Newt to a room. Minho is the only one who struggles with the armed guards. The guards lock the three into the room with food to eat. They talk about how they should have made a run for it before the guards showed up.

Thomas tells them what Brenda said about only trusting her and someone named Chancellor Paige. They decide that somehow, some way, they will escape the following day.

Ironically, even at gunpoint, Thomas feels unusually calm. The boys find it suspicious that Brenda, who works for WICKED, is someone whom they should trust.
