Chapters 37 and 38 Summary

The others refuse to leave without talking to Newt, so the guards escort them inside. They witness skirmishes among the infected along the way. When they reach the central zone, it is a madhouse. Cranks are everywhere and all of their mannerisms are exaggerated. Fights have broken out everywhere.

They find Newt inside of the abandoned bowling alley. Newt insists that they leave him because he is not well.
