Chapters 19 and 20 Summary

As Thomas starts to lose consciousness, he hears the motors of the Berg. He thinks they are leaving him behind just like the others. Thomas sees guards standing above him pointing their guns at him. Two of his friends tackle the guards—Minho and Newt. Jorge shoots at the guards from the Berg.

Newt, Minho and Thomas finally reach the door to the Berg. As soon as Thomas boards the Berg, he passes out. He wakes up to a beat up Brenda standing over him. It's ten hours later. They talk about the cities they can go to since they are immune to the Flare. Brenda says Jorge tracked Teresa and the others to Denver.

Brenda talks about meeting Jorge in Alaska, a gathering place for Munies. He has become like an uncle to her. Brenda talks about how Munies...
