Chapters 56 and 57 Summary

Thomas tries to process the fact that he shot his best friend in the head. The rest of the trip is a blur. The Berg lands long enough to drop Thomas off in WICKED. All Thomas can think about is that he killed Newt.

As Thomas makes his way through the wild, he tries to focus on his goal. Janson greets Thomas and he enters the headquarters of WICKED.

Chapters 56 and 57 Analysis

At this point, Thomas is just going through the motions. Ironically, Thomas plans to ask WICKED to let him inside instead of trying to escape. Additionally, Thomas is at WICKED by choice this time instead of being forced by the government.
