Chapter 10 Summary

Thomas, Newt and Minho fight the guards. It doesn't work. The guards are able to subdue the three teenagers. Thomas tells Janson he was just a kid. Janson says he might have just been a kid but that Thomas was more driven than anyone about finding a cure.

Janson brings Brenda in to remove his swipe while Janson goes to attend to another matter. Brenda arrives but Thomas can't tell by her expression what her true intention is. She questions why she is working for them. She says he has to trust her like he did in the Scorch. Brenda confirms that she and Jorge are immune from the Flare, which is why they are using them to work for WICKED.
