Chapters 35 and 36 Summary

They decide to find Newt first and then figure out what to do. Brenda says they've likely taken him to the Crank Palace. Jorge lands the Berg twenty minutes later. Guards with launchers surround the Berg, and Thomas suggests they try to talk with the guards. Up close, the guards are filthy, sweaty and covered in scratches.

Thomas asks the guards if Newt had come here in the last day or so. The guard says he'll help them for money. As they walk into the palace, the guard describes the setup of the palace. As they enter into the inner sanctums of the palace, the guards enter to try to find Newt. When they emerge some time later, they say they think they've located Newt. The problem is that Newt told them to get lost.
