Chapters 63 and 64 Summary

Bill now has the gun in his hand. When he steps into the hall to greet Beth, he points it at her. Beth begs Bill to let the kids go. Bill says he is taking Beth and the children hostage so he can get away without the police killing him.

As Bill is ushering them all to his car, Larry steps in, points his gun at Bill and tells him to freeze. Bill promptly shoots Larry and Larry falls to the ground. Bill makes Beth drive. Bill says they're going to drive far and then he'll find a bridge to them all over so he can continue on his own.

Tracy is pulling up to home as she sees the Buick shoot out. Tracy sees Jimmy in the backseat. She also sees a little girl and wonders if it is Lisa...
