Chapters 41 and 42 Summary

When Jake and Jimmy get back to the hospital, they tell Jimmy there's someone in the hospital he might want to see. He doesn't recognize his mother until Nick says her name. Jimmy starts to back out of the room and says he doesn't want to see her. Tracy gets upset and starts crying.

Tony and Larry are in the judge's office trying to get him to issue a warrant on the new evidence. The judge says he'll look it over tonight and give them his decision tomorrow. Tony starts yelling at the judge and the judge threatens to throw him out of his office. Larry tries to appeal to the judge. When they leave, they decide to talk to the captain to go over the judge's head because the judge is either senile or dirty.
