Chapters 61 and 62 Summary

Lynda and Jake take Beth home with them. They get her settled into the guest bedroom. Beth sneaks out of her room, through the backyard and into her car. When Beth enters the compound of the children's home, she finds a bunch of crying children. The children tell her that Bill is going to kill Jimmy and the others that are inside the room with Bill. Beth instructs the children to hide in the rec room and not to come out until she tells them to come out. Then, Beth calls out to Bill, telling him that she's there.

Outside in his car, Larry hears the gunshot Jimmy fired and then sees Beth heading into the building. Larry tells all of this to Tony on the phone. Larry tells Tony to call for backup and that he's going in.
