Chapters 33 and 34 Summary

The post office truck is loading the box Lisa brought to the post office earlier. The box is addressed to Beth Wright from Marlene Brandon.

Beth wakes up early at Lynda's house, where she stayed the night before. She's out walking the puppy, Dodger, when Jake jogs up. He tells her that he finds out today if he can get his pilot's license back. She says he's waiting for the newspaper delivery boy to deliver the paper. Jake says he usually sees him when he's jogging but that he must be running late today. Beth gets in her car to hunt down a paper while Jake is in the shower.
