Chapters 53 and 54 Summary

Jimmy sees Larry in the cop car outside the home. He also sees the party going on. He slips into through Stella's window to hide until Lisa comes back. Jake arrives home after not being able to find Jimmy. He and Lynda find the email that Jimmy has up on the screen showing that he was conversing with a boy from the children's home. Lynda calls the detective, Tony, to let them know Jimmy is going back to the home.

Chapters 53 and 54 Analysis

The pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. Jimmy is walking into a dangerous trap and situation. It foreshadows a domino effect, where people are injured and people die. All of this starts with Jimmy walking into the home and getting caught by Bill. Once this happens, an unfortunate series of events are bound to happen.
