Chapters 29 and 30 Summary

After talking to Jimmy, Tony and Larry, the two detectives are in the judge's chambers. The judge refuses to issue them a warrant with the small amount of evidence they have. The judge leaves for a meeting and the two detectives plan to go get the additional evidence they need.

Bill hangs up the phone with a source telling him that Beth's paper is printing the story tomorrow. He pulls the blueprint out for the offices of the St. Clair News. He calls Stella and tells her to send the tem over, including Lisa Westin. Bill tells the kids that the paper is going to print a story exposing them as thieves unless they stop it. In fear of going to jail, the kids huddle around the blueprint so Bill can tell them the plan.
