Chapters 31 and 32 Summary

Beth and Nick are in the ICU waiting room waiting to visit Tracy. They start to tell each other a little about their lives growing up. Beth compares herself to Tracy, in that Beth wouldn't have any family or friends waiting in the waiting room to see her if she were sick either. Nick seems to come from a family where they were close and ate dinner together every night. They both go in to visit Tracy after the doctor pulls some strings, since they are not immediate family. Beth and Nick end up kissing before they part ways.
