Chapter 19 Summary

Odd finds himself in Justine's room. Justine is propped up in bed with her hands in her lap, and to Odd it appears as though she is looking right at him. Suddenly he is caught off guard by the smell of peaches exactly like the shampoo Stormy used to insist he use. Then Justine struggles to communicate something to Odd. With intense effort, she lifts her arm and points out the window. He sees a not-human figure at the window, that reminds him eerily of the shapeless bodachs.

Chapter 19 Analysis

Odd concentrates on finding the source of the imminent danger, but finds himself in Justine's room again. He tries to fight the urge to go there, but having put out a call for information, he can't seem to redirect himself. Going into room 32, he finds Justine seemingly aware and looking straight at him...
