Chapter 13 Summary

Odd finally gives in to his "psychic magnetism" and begins looking for Brother Timothy. He finally follows his instincts outside. After wandering for some time, he gives up thinking about Brother Timothy. Part of him didn't really want to find his dead body and therefore inhibited the "search." He heads for the school, but before he arrives, he hears a keening sound, and can't shake the feeling that he is being watched. He hears otherworldly noise coming from every direction.

Odd wants to help Brother Knuckles find Brother Timothy and figure out what is going to happen, but he has little faith in himself. He knows and admits that he has a stronger "psychic magnetism" than most people, but he still has a hard time believing he can help.
