Chapter 36 Summary

Odd tells Rodion to go into the Abbey and get the Brother's ready. Odd collects the keys from both vehicles and pockets them, to prevent Rodion from driving back to the school. Odd tries to explain without telling Brother Knuckles too much. Trusting him explicitly, Odd tells him he found Brother Timothy, but there is no body to show the Sheriff.

Chapter 36 Analysis

Odd and Rodion get to the Abbey and find the Brothers ready to go. Odd spends a couple minutes trying to bring Brother Knuckles up to date without telling him any details. He tells him he found Brother Timothy, but also that no body is left to show the Sheriff. Odd wants Rodion to stay behind, but he outsmarts Odd.
