Explain the genre and its characteristics, being sure to include examples of famous parodies and explaining how and why The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster qualifies as a parody. Be sure to include detains from Henderson's book and explain what they are parodying. Support any and all assertions with quotes or examples from the book.
