Chapter 24 Summary

Penny walks to Tally's house with a cupcake box in her hands. She isn't there, but Poppy offers to drive Penny to the ARK, the animal shelter where Tally works every Saturday. Before they leave, Poppy shows Penny the winter tree witch ball she designed from Penny's description of the winter trees in Central Park in winter. When Poppy calls Penny the Cupcake Queen, Penny mentions Mr. Fish says the same thing about her creations. Penny suggests they work on planet witch balls together.

Poppy, Penny and Gram arrive at the ARK. Tally has died her hair with three primary colors and given up her "normal" look. Penny tells her she's staying in Hog's Hollow. As they are walking outside between outbuildings, a turkey vulture collides named Snowball collides with Penny. Gram decides to adopt a white kitten she names Cupcake. As Penny...
