Summary

Hodges hears the gunfire. His radioman runs over to him, telling him the OP is under attack. Hodges quickly assembles the rest of the men and looks harshly at Kersey as he passes by him to rescue the men. He yells to JoJo and Rodeo and they tell him Snake and Bagger are with them. Bagger's been shot in the leg. Hodges yells for Snake, who tells him Senator is in bad shape. Snake hoists Senator over his shoulder and tells Hodges he's coming out. They try to provide cover fire, but the enemy has a machine gun. The man who's supposed to catch Senator is killed by the fire. Senator falls and Snake trips over him. Snake is in the open and the machine gun rips through his body, killing him right before Hodges's eyes.

Hodges doesn't know what else to do, so...
