Chapter 26 Summary

Kersey orders Snake to move his platoon. Snake had already set his men up in the best spot, but Kersey insists it's not the right spot for him. He wants Snake in the paddy, which is crazy. Snake persists, thinking back to when he worked under Kersey before and it was an everyday battle with him. He's a jerk and Snake would love to tell him where to go. He tells Kersey the only way he's moving his men is if he hears it from his Lieutenant. He tells Snake to go get his Lieutenant, but before he does that, he first needs to find three gooks along the tree line. He agrees and sends Senator's group to the tree line to check it out.

Senator and his men decide to go through the cemetery as it's safer and they see a child...
