Chapter 21 Summary

Senator watches as Bagger and Cannonball return. They are accompanied by two other men who he doesn't know. They are fighting with one another also, and look around for familiar faces. One of them asks Senator where Snake is and he points to Snake's tent. It's Ogre and Baby Cakes. Snake is elated to see them both.

They tell Snake the story of how Baby Cakes had a job sorting mail and Ogre comes in telling him about getting hookers in Da Nang. Baby Cakes leaves his mail job and follows Ogre to a whorehouse that has the ugliest girls he's ever seen. They both get caught and end up back in the bush. The other men all crowd around to listen to the two men bicker. When it's all over, Baby Cakes feels a little better about getting it off his chest...
