Summary

In Chapter 20, Blue has read about the Temple of Clearsight but is not prepared for “the feeling of peace that hit him when he saw it” (164). He considers it a cross between a “magic library” and a peaceful garden. He is sad to think he will probably never again be here. Sundew is furious, citing the number of trees it took to build this. There are guards at the door. The Librarian lives in the temple, and actually never leaves after she begins her service. Blue thinks that is a huge sacrifice. For a moment, Blue considers telling the guards about Sundew, Belladonna, and Hemlock. He wonders if Queen Wasp would reward him and knows he would have to keep Cricket out of the story.
