Summary

In Chapter 20, Chameleon (who is enchanted to be a huge NightWing) looks so different that Peril hesitates. Moon can read his mind and assures them this is Chameleon. Winter recognizes him as the dragon who hurt Kinkajou. Moon points out that they wounded that dragon but Qibli surmises his wounds heal when he changes into a different dragon. Peril remembers Ruby's injuries disappearing when she changed into Tourmaline. The dragonets want the scroll, but they also want justice for Kinkajou. Peril believes that taking the scroll would be an enormous punishment. He pledges not to do anything wrong, and says he only did what Scarlet instructed. Qibli counters, saying Chameleon chose to hurt Kinkajou.
