Summary

In Chapter 15, Ruby realizes Peril is under a spell because she would not otherwise forget about Clay. Peril does not believe she is under an enchantment. Peril's attention momentarily focuses on her father, but Ruby begins to talk about Clay. Peril becomes confused, then thinks about Turtle who almost became her friend. Scarlet demands Ruby go to a cell. Ruby gives Cliff encouragement and warns the other dragons to obey Scarlet in an effort to keep Cliff safe. Peril asks Scarlet about Clay but Scarlet dismisses the question. Scarlet sends Peril and Chameleon with Cliff to a high tower, believing he is too young to fly down. Cliff quickly settles in to sleep. Peril feels there is something wrong with the entire world.
