Summary

Part Two is titled Possibility. In Chapter 6, Peril is annoyed that Turtle flies slowly and must rest often. Peril begins to hope that killing Scarlet will prompt Ruby to lift her banishment. Turtle believes someone is following them. Peril says she is not worried as long as it is not Scarlet. She believes she is invincible, except to hurtful words. She says she killed many dragons in the arena and never lost. Turtle points out none of those dragons could use weapons or fly. Peril says frost breath does not hurt her and she believes a spear would burn up as it touched her. Turtle suggests a spear thrown “really hard” might penetrate her heart before it burned.
