Chapter 13 Summary

Waking up next to Larkin makes Blair think of what life could be like if things were different. Blair knows that what she feels for Larkin is more than a fleeting physical relationship. She also knows that Lord Larkin belongs to Geall, and when the battle is over, Blair will return to her own world. Larkin has a position in Geall, and Blair knows that she has a duty as a demon hunter. Blair realizes that they could possibly be in love. It is such a miracle for Blair to have a man love her knowing everything there is to know about her. She knows that when they part, it will be mutual, no regrets on either side.
