Chapter 6 Summary

Blair and Larkin discuss attacking Lilith in daylight with flaming arrows, but Blair is concerned about the attention that it will draw. She knows that she is the only one who could do it, all the others are too emotionally programmed to try to save the innocents. She and Larkin argue about it. Blair believes herself to be hard, but Larkin sees Blair being a demon hunter and warrior as a gift and a duty. He also tells her that she is choosing to become hardened. She does believe that partnerships between two people can be forged, but only if both know all the dark secrets of each other and completely accept them for what they are.
