New York City

New York City is one of the primary settings in the novel. Specifically, Manhattan and Brooklyn are the two primary settings within New York City where the novel takes place. It is where the novel begins and where Eva lives.

The Crossfire Building

The Crossfire Building is the building where Eva and Gideon meet. It is the same building where both of their offices are located. When Eva discovers Gideon's true identity, she also finds out that The Crossfire Building is one of the many buildings that Gideon owns.
