Summary

Eli is presumed to be dead. In Chapter 53, Saint will not leave Patch’s side in the hospital. Norma talks about prayer, but Saint does not think God should get the credit for putting out a fire he started. Misty comes to the hospital in Chapter 54 and tells Saint that Eli asked her a lot of questions about her beliefs. Nix apologizes to Saint for not believing her. He tells her that none of them will be the same. When Patch wakes up, Saint tells him that the police took his Playboy.
