Summary

Patch looks out at the St. Francois Mountains knowing that when he will think back on this morning later today when he lay dying, he will not believe they could possibly be as beautiful as he thinks they are. The police will note his eye patches that he wears to cover his one missing eye as well as the pirate flag on his wall. He knows which one he would want to wear on the day he marries Misty Meyer.
