Chapter 17 Summary

Gideon goes on to explain that their relationship works when she allows him to control her. He leads Eva to a room in his house that he has recreated to look just like her room in her own apartment. He tells her that when she feels the need to be alone she can come to this room, so that she'll never leave him again.

Eva tries to dominate Gideon to disprove his point. Then they go out to eat dinner delivery. He gives Eva a ring as a gift. She tells him she loves the ring and thinks about how much she loves Gideon. They talk about Dr. Petersen. Gideon says he'll see him alone on Tuesdays and Thursdays they can see him as a couple.

In the middle of the night, Eva wakes up aroused. She starts to caress Gideon. They have sex. Gideon orders her...
