Summary

Part Three is titled Leaves in a Storm. In Chapter 18, Cricket has figured out that Sundew is in love with Willow. Sundew “barks” out a response, then thanks Cricket. Nettle says she has figured it out as well. She claims to be pleased that she will not have Cricket as a sister-in-law. Back in the village, they briefly discuss the prophecy. Tsunami says the prophecy indicated an answer would like in the book, which they assume to be the Book of Clearsight. Cricket is going near the fighting and decides to leave Bumblebee with Tsunami. Bumblebee pleads, saying “NOBYNOBYNOBE” (178) and clinging to Cricket. Tsunami says she runs a school and is “cool.” Bumblebee continues to argue.
