Summary

In Chapter 8, Snowfall is in the body of a SilkWing named Tau. She has a deformed wing, meaning she could not keep up with the other members of the Chrysalis – a resistance movement trying to fight Queen Wasp who rules the HiveWings and SilkWings. She interacts with Lady Jewel, ruler of the Jewel Hive where she lives, and Lady Jewel's mother, Lady Scarab. Jewel and Scarab are arguing with Scarab saying Jewel should have taken the throne away from Wasp ages ago. They are now planning to hide and Tau is terrified.

Snowfall is “EXTREMELY grumpy” (100) when she wakes. Lynx figures out Snowfall is having visions and Snowfall tells her about them.
