Summary

In Chapter 3, Mink arrives at the queen's chambers. Mink gives Snowfall a “blob” that she says is a mink she carved as a means of saying “I love you.” Mink wants to come in, saying she sometimes slept with their mother. Only royal dragons know where the Forbidden Treasury is and Snowfall decides to show Mink, in case something happens to her. She sends guards away and reveals the hidden room, which is under the bed. Mink is amazed and Snowfall makes a point of telling her this must be secret. The treasury holds the animus objects, including a tiara that makes the user strong, a scepter that has the “gift of compromise,” and an opal ring that has “the gift of vision.” Some have additional information. She finds one that interests her.
