Turtle

Turtle is an animus SeaWing dragon who is a member of the Jade Winglet at the Jade Mountain Academy. Anemone and Tsunami are his sisters. He has more than 30 brothers, including Pike. Because there are so many princes, Turtle's parents – Coral and Gill – could not even recognize them on sight. When he was very young, Gill sent Turtle on an errand then berated him for not completing it, and that honed Turtle's desire to remain inconspicuous. He is careful not to attract attention and is excellent at being present but ignored. He admits that when the SeaWings conducted the annual tests to see if there were animus dragons in their tribe, he cast a spell to give Anemone animus powers to keep himself out of the limelight.
