Chapter 30 Summary

For three days and nights, Alexandra endures the passive-aggressive wrath of Jordan. On the morning of his birthday, Alexandra asks Filbert if everything is ready for the celebration. He tells her that it is, though he doesn't understand why she is throwing a party for her undeserving husband. At the same time, Fawkes tells Jordan that his preparations are all ready as well. He has men in trees, behind bushes and other obscure places ready to attack at a moment's notice He tells him that he believes the party is a trap and that when he spoke to Alexandra today, he could tell she was lying to him and was plotting something.
