Chapter 25 and Chapter 26 Summary

Alexandra anticipates a warm good morning from her husband, but as she passes Jordan's study, he merely nods and continues on with his business meeting. She goes outside to play with Henry and then decides to go for a ride. When she gets back to the stables, Smarth tells her that Jordan is inside waiting for, and he has been for more than an hour. Jordan is upset that she left without saying anything about where she planned on going and tells her that she is no longer allowed to go anywhere without telling someone where she is off to, or without a proper escort. He also tells her that she is not to leave his bed in the middle of the night either and likens her action of leaving in the night to a whore. .
