Chapter 29 Summary

Geoffrey returns to Darcy's room to inform her she will have to be on bed rest for the remaining six weeks of her pregnancy. Geoffrey assumes Darcy will move in with him and assures her that he will take care of her. Ethan steps in to object, telling Darcy he will write from home and take care of her. Darcy is happy Ethan wants her with him and, after making sure she won't be an imposition, she accepts his offer.

Later that night, Geoffrey drops Darcy and Ethan home, and assures Ethan that Sondrine will arrive home safely. When the two drive off, Darcy and Ethan agree Geoffrey and Sondrine are angry with them. Darcy apologizes for ruining Sondrine's Valentine's Day, but Ethan shrugs it off.

The following morning, Darcy wakes to a phone argument between Ethan and Sondrine. Darcy listens in thinking...
