Chapter 5 Summary

Darcy and Marcus discuss the night before. Marcus wants to drop it by saying they did a terrible thing and should let it go. Darcy replies that she cannot. She persists, asking Marcus if she is meant to be with him. Marcus tells her that is not going to happen. Darcy tries another approach, asking Marcus if he will continue to date Rachel. When he says yes, Darcy asks him if he would choose her over Rachel if she were single. Marcus tells her he would try to have sex with them at the same time, and then seriously tells her it would be a close call. Darcy wants Marcus to say it would be a close call because of Dex, but Marcus doesn't satisfy her curiosity.

For the rest of the weekend and once they return to Manhattan, Marcus ignores Darcy. She...
