Chapter 16 Summary

When John and Meg walk into the club holding hands, the girls are gaping at John and then wondering why he's with a girl with blue hair. They walk to the back of the club to meet up with Will. John goes to get them non-alcoholic drinks and tells Will not to steal her while he's gone. John calls Will on his cell phone from the bar to tell him to move his chair six inches to the left—away from Meg. Will assures Meg that John does like her. He says he's just scared because he's staying in town and Meg is leaving. Will says it's the same situation that broke up John and Angie.
