Chapter 13 Summary

Eric threatens to have his father call the health inspector on the diner. Then he pulls out a bag of weed and starts to light up. Meg tries to stop him. She decides to get out of the car, call John to have him pull Eric over and then pick her up. When she gets out of the car, Officer Leroy turns his lights on. Meg tries to tell Officer Leroy that it's not what it looks like, but he tells her to go to John's car because he wants to talk to meg and that he's pissed. Meg gets in the backseat of John's car.

Meg suggests John was following her. He says he is just hurt that she was going to have sex with Eric. John admits that he cares about Meg. Meg admits that she didn't have sex with Eric...
