Chapter 10 Summary

Tiffany and Meg are sitting on the curb watching the paramedics treat injuries from a car accident at Birmingham Junction. It is the third accident in as many nights that John has been called on. John is directing traffic. Tiffany says she saw Brian at last night's accident on the fire truck and he told her not to call him anymore. Tiffany tells Meg that John likes her. Meg's paramedic friend, Quincy, comes over to the girls. Meg asks him why he was so mean to her on the bridge and he says it was because she was trying to kill herself after he worked so hard to save her four years earlier.
