Know Your Plants

Part of a shaman's medicine kit includes local plants with medicinal properties. Wherever you live, there are plants native to your area that have therapeutic or healing properties. Research your native plants and write a brief description for five different plants. Include the plant's name, its beneficial properties, how the healing concoction is prepared (for example, as a tea), and what health conditions it is reported to help or alleviate.
