Chapter 14 Summary

Denver and Beloved are sitting in the kitchen. Beloved reaches into her own mouth and pulls out a tooth. She wonders how long she will be able to keep together and whether her arms and legs are going to fall off. Denver asks Beloved if it hurt. Beloved says that it did. Denver asks Beloved why she did not cry. So Beloved cries.
