Moseley - Chapter 45 Summary

Moseley, a pharmacist in Mottson, sees Dewey Dell in his drug store. His assistant, Albert, tries to help her, but she refuses to speak with him. So he passes her on to Moseley and, when Moseley asks her what the problem is, Dewey Dell is evasive and asks to go to the back of the store to discuss her problem.

Once they are in the back, Dewey Dell indicates that she is pregnant and she wants something that will abort the fetus. She explains that her boyfriend -- whose name she does not offer -- gave her ten dollars to purchase something for it, but she does not know what it might.....
