Chapter 16 Summary

Shadow finds himself in a dark world. He walks down a set of rock steps and meets Zorya Polunochnaya. She tells him his questions will be answered if he wants. He gives her the Liberty coin back. She takes it and turns it into the moon. She tells him he can walk the path of fine lies, or one of hard truths. Shadow picks the path of truths. She tells him he must pay with his real name, and somehow pulls it out of his head. Zoyra Polunochnaya points him to the right hand path. Shadow takes the path and sees himself in his life.
