Summary

In Chapter Seventeen, Rachel wakes up after sleeping only a few hours. Knowing she won’t be able to get back to sleep, she sets up the ironing board and searches for a video to watch. Rachel finds a video Janie had used to record “Sons and Daughters” and plays it. At the end of the show, Rachel is surprised to hear Janie’s voice coming from the videotape. Janie and Connor are on the video. Rachel wonders why Janie was actually in Connor’s bedroom. She is pretending to interview Connor. Rachel can tell his is smitten with Janie. She asks him if he has a girlfriend, a question Connor turns around on her. He gets angry when she tries to flirt with him. Rachel suddenly believes she has new evidence and calls Sergeant Bellach.
