Chapter 35 Summary

John acts quickly and reverses the Pelican as fast as he can to put some distance between them and the Covenant frigate. The ship seems to be ignoring the Pelican and two other alien ships approaching the frigate seem to be ignoring it too. John crash lands the ship onto one of the USNC docking station. The Spartans take their ammunition and exit the Pelican. They see the Covenant ships are alive now and aliens dressed in armor have exited the ships and are heading toward the Spartans. John decides this is the elite class of alien soldiers Dr. Halsey briefed them on. Linda is able to shoot and kill one of the approaching aliens in their armored suits.
