Chapter 15 Summary

Ensign Lovell is on one of the space stations. His job is to monitor for any alien ships. The space station where he is stationed has never registered any alien ships, which is why he requested to man this particular station. The computer makes the Ensign read and agree to comply with the policy as he signs on for duty. The policy states that when a station or ship is under attack by the Covenant, that all data must be destroyed. The Ensigns sees a foreign object in the distance, about two hours away. he decides it's probably not an alien ship because one has never been spotted here. He also decides against sending out probes to determine what the object is. Instead, he just puts up his feet on the console of the ship and waits.
